This innovative conversion kit transforms the mini-Z, shifting it from using 4 x AAA ni-Mh batteries to 2 x lipo batteries. By utilizing dual 2S lipo batteries, the mini-Z gains a significant power boost and a longer race time, making it a force to be reckoned with on the track.

The lipo batteries are strategically mounted on both sides of the frame to ensure optimal balance and stability during cornering. The carbon fiber battery compartment door allows for seamless installation and removal of the batteries. Additionally, the top frame features vacant spaces for mounting various electronics and extra weights to adjust the center of gravity. Surprisingly, the total weight of the car with dual 2S 350mAh batteries is a mere 140g, making it 10g lighter than the stock car.

The SKYLINE chassis is compatible with the NEXX V-LINE front suspension system, PN Racing Double A-Arm, and most motor mounts on the market designed for a 90-102mm wide wheelbase. When it comes to recommended electronics, ESC options include PN, ENSOTECH, ATOMIC, GL, and KYOSHO. For servos, you can use the stock mini-Z servo gears, KYOSHO main board, PN RACING servo board, or any other servo boards taken from micro servos. As for the motor, any 1/28 motors that fit your motor mount are suitable.

When it comes to the body, you have the choice of using plastic hard bodies or lexan bodies. And for the center shock and damper, options include KYOSHO, NEXX, and PN center shocks. The SKYLINE chassis also accommodates GL Racing batteries or any 2S batteries that fit the 20x40x11.5mm battery compartment.
