Get ready for the exciting new open class of the supercharged Mini-Z lipo class! The NEXX RACING team is thrilled to introduce the SKYLINE, a lipo conversion chassis designed for Mini-Z 1:28 scale cars.

The SKYLINE conversion kit allows you to upgrade your Mini-Z from 4 x AAA ni-Mh batteries to 2 x lipo batteries, providing a significant power boost. By using dual 2S lipo batteries, your Mini-Z will have double the power and race time, making it a force to be reckoned with on the track.

The lipo batteries are strategically mounted on both sides of the frame to improve stability during cornering. The carbon fiber battery compartment door makes it easy to install and remove the batteries. Additionally, the top frame features empty spaces for mounting additional electronics and adjusting the center of gravity.

Despite the power upgrade, the total weight of the car with dual 2S 350mAh batteries is a mere 140g, making it 10g lighter than the stock car. The SKYLINE chassis is compatible with various front suspension systems, motor mounts, and other accessories for 90-102mm wide wheel bases.

For optimal performance, we recommend using ESCs from PN, ENSOTECH, ATOMIC, GL, or KYOSHO, and servos from Stock Mini-Z, KYOSHO, PN RACING, or other micro servo brands. As for motors, any 1/28 motor that fits your motor mount will work.

When it comes to body options, you can choose from plastic hard bodies or lexan bodies. For center shocks and dampers, consider using products from KYOSHO, NEXX, or PN. Finally, select GL Racing batteries or any 2S batteries that fit the 20x40x11.5mm battery compartment.
